PLEASE!!!
Salam! Peace To All! I really thought that war was over in Sudan...well, not to my dreams or hopes. This is a message to my South Sudanese and North Sudanese: Please think about the civilians who are caught in the middle. Don't think about revenge, or "taking over" to show how powerful you are or if you can tease the other side. Please.
Men, you can pick a gun, fight, and protect you army....but what about the women and children? do you want the women to go back to the years of gang rape, brutality, sex slavery? do you want the children to be disappear and grow up in a hate environment, not knowing NOTHING just carry a gun? not even know how to write thier name? not even know how to draw or using crayons?
I completely understand that you might have so much hate for the "Jalabas" for committing crimes for the past and recently, but my South Sudanese brothers, please use your mind and not your heart when it comes to matters of conflict resolution. I myself, am Darfurian, and I know what you all have been through all those years. I know. But still, I am not going to hate, despise, revenge anyone who is "Jalaba", because you CAN't fit anyone into ONE box. This same ideology of mine applies to my North Sudanese brothers. You CAN'T make Sudan an "Islamic" or "Sharia" country, because NOT every Muslim or non-Muslim fit in ONE box. DON't think just because you are Muslim + Speak Arabic+ lighter Complexion = Superior/Imperialistic. NO. That equation has driven many people to war, and have created many hate groups. I myself is a Muslim, but I don't like Sharia to be the law of the land, because I DON'T TRUST ANYONE, BUT GOD! God, can only judge, forgive, and punish me for my sins- NOT HUMANS.
In the name of Peace, please develop your own country by building roads, schools, medical facilities, and helping the refugees who come to your country. Please.
