Ending Islamic- Extremism:
Reforming Islamic Education
Salam. Peace To All!
I was really thinking about writing this blog for a long time......it was in my mind and I just had to find the words for it.
Do you think that ending "Islamic-extremism" is by educating Muslims about Islam, the "right" and "peaceful" teachings? Don't you think there needs to be a reform of Islamic institutions and education within the Islamic world? I believe so and I am speaking to my Muslim audience!
Just a few days ago, a 14-year old Pakistani activist girl was shot in the head, because she fights for the rights of educating girls.
Now....do you think ALL MUSLIMS think like the TALIBAN or EXTREMISTS? No!
But why in the world, or in God's name, or in Islamic "terminology" that we (Muslims) see the wrong teaching and doings of other Muslims and are QUITE? WHY?
Where are the Muslim Clerks, Imams, Shieks, and leaders do speak about the wrong teachings of Islamic and misinterpretation of the Quran?
I will tell you why......................
Because most Imams/leaders are not "actively" speaking when it comes to admitting or noticing the Islamic-wrong teachings. And, if they do speak, its in moderate accounts.
Because there is no democracy (or little) in the Muslim world, despite the fact that Islam has democracy, science, education, and philosophy. So the followers of those Imaams, Presidents, leaders, Shieks are "hush-hush and live to survive" concept that are programmed into their brains
Because we as Muslims, are AFRAID of change........or even NOT TO ADMIT the wrong of others.
maybe because....we as Muslims are "brainwashed" by our Islamic leaders and are not taught to "think out side the box".
Its time that WE MAKE THE CHANGE ....instead of WAITING for OTHERS to change for us!!!

ReplyDeleteSalam warda , great blog, i agree with you the extremists always give Islam a bad image with their stupid dumb wrong doings like killing the innocent people in Allah's name and taking revenge on someone else, islam wants us to think so deep not to follow without thinking, wants us to use our brains not to get brainwashed, gives us the freedom to believe or disbelieve, in islam you are only responsible for what you do.
ReplyDeletePresidents, leaders, kings, etc are a hypocrites they better shut their mouths up everybody knows they are just a parasites.
Imaams, Shieks, Mufties are the reason of this chaos they mess up the basic points and look for the differences, most of them remain silent until the governors command them to say something.
They only way to reform Islamic education is to understand the holy Quran and the Sunnah, then the world will know that islam is the religion of peace.
Thank you so much for you input. I just pray one day, that we Muslims can really change the way we think about Islam and apply it the right way to our lives!!!
